Position Location: Petaluma, CA
Summary: Reporting to the Vice President of Global Sales, the International Sales Manager, ROW will have overall responsibility for driving company?s growth, profitability and business goals in multiple international markets including, South and Central America, Australia/New Zealand, and Asia/Pacific. We seek a sales professional with the will, skill, and real-world experience needed to be an immediate contributor to a talented and committed team. The right person for the job will have demonstrated international business experience managing multiple distributors and be a passionate product advocate, a team player, a great communicator and an active agent of organizational change. This position requires someone who is comfortable creating new business; we?re not looking for a ?maintenance person?. Primary responsibilities will include distributor management, key account manage management, business development, and some sales administration. He or she will have a strong sales mentality, insight for identifying opportunities, and good business acumen. This individual will be charged with leading our business and brand-building efforts in key emerging markets (China and Brazil) and will have experience in these channels.
Position Responsibilities:
? Develops strategic and tactical sales and distribution plans for each market, existing and new.
? Manages sales resources and business development activities to maximize sales through current and new channels.
? Performs hands-on management of any direct key accounts in the territory.
? Provides significant sales input on product development strategies and throughout the development process, then harnesses the company?s resources to deliver powerful product introductions.
? Maintains an accurate and current merchandising calendar for all markets that includes all the milestone that must be met for successful product introductions and seasonal launches.
? Serves as the in-house ?customer? for the trade-directed marketing activities (POP, collateral, etc.)
? Contributes to development of powerful consumer marketing programs that are well-conceived and targeted to a myriad of different markets.
? Manages International sales and marketing operational expense budget.
? Negotiating, cateloging, and maintaining all International Distributor Agreements within the territory.
? Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of CamelBak?s annual International Sales Meeting.
? Oversee all marketing funds paid to distributor partners to ensure that the funds are spent efficiently to drive the business, promote the brand, and that such expenditures are at an appropriate level given market requirements and contractual obligations.
? Work with Customer Service to execute "best practices" to respond to international needs, ensuring timely and adequate communication to CamelBak?s International customers.
? Provide informed and valuable input to Sr. Management on global issues affecting our business in key markets on issues such as:
? Supply Chain Logistics
? Regional product trends
? Competive activities
? Emerging markets
? Industry trends
? Future product needs and market opportunities
